Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

At Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFOF) we provide compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention. A core function of the work to do is to serve all in our community impacted by sexual violence. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The purpose of SAAM is to raise awareness within our community about sexual assault and educate the public on how to be a part of the solution.

This year's theme from the National Sexual Violence Resource Center is "Embrace Your Voice". We invite you to join us as we stand for victims throughout the month of April. #ItsOnUsDentonCounty #SAAM
