Director of Community Engagement, Lori graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas in 2001. She worked in the child abuse field for 18 years with the Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County. In her leadership role, she had a variety of responsibilities including facilitating the multidisciplinary team consisting of disciplines responsible for the investigation, intervention and prosecution of child abuse cases, conducting forensic interviews, database management and statistical reporting. In 2014, she became a contract trainer for Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas teaching new and developing forensic interviewers the science and art of forensic interviewing. Currently, Lori serves as the Director of Community Engagement at Denton County Friends of the Family ensuring seamless service provision through creating meaningful relationships with community partners.
