The staff of Denton County Friends of the Family is doing everything in our power to stop family violence and heal the wounds of sexual assault, but we cannot do it alone.  We need YOUR help!  Volunteers play a vital part in the delivery of services from rocking babies or painting shelter rooms, to helping at DCFOF Thrift; volunteers are one of the largest assets Friends of the Family has. Our volunteers make it possible for us to give our clients excellent service.

We encourage both groups and individuals to look into volunteering for Friends of the Family. Whether you can give an hour a month or several hours a week, we would be honored to have your help. If you feel you can make a contribution in a way that's not listed, let us know. We are always open to new ideas!

You can find our Volunteer Application here. Completed Volunteer Applications can be turned in or mailed to: Denton County Friends of the Family, Attn: Volunteer Coordinator, 4845 S. I-35E, Corinth, TX 76210.

There is an additional form needed for volunteers wishing to work directly with children. This form is given out at Volunteer Orientation. To register for an orientation, please review the dates below. Please keep in mind that it takes up to three weeks to complete the application process for those wishing to volunteer with children.
