#HerStory | Alice Mankoff

My journey with Denton County Friends of the Family began in 2006 as I searched for a community organization to serve with in a volunteer capacity.  I never imagined how enriching and personally impactful an experience was in store for me.

Having lived in Denton for many years, I was aware of DCFOF but had limited knowledge of the breadth of services provided by this incredible organization.  It has been a privilege to grow with the agency over the years in expanding the scope of the work, community awareness of the mission and need and the vision for a range of vital services.  DCFOF serves women, children, men, and families of all sectors of our community and those beyond the county, experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault.

I am proud of my work as a volunteer, board member, and representative of DCFOF and am humbled and honored to be able to share in advocating for those impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault and abuse.

Will you join me in this work?  We need you.
