Safety, Hope, Healing, Justice and Prevention.
Community Education is a big part of what we do here at Denton County Friends of the Family. We offer programs about the prevention of relationship violence and sexual assault to all parts of our community. From our Bumbles presentations with children as young as kindergarten-aged to Media Literacy presentations for adults, to domestic violence and sexual assault 101 for business and organizations. We cover the whole spectrum of education about relationship violence and sexual assault.
Community education is available for individuals and groups interested in learning more about Denton County Friends of the Family, domestic violence, and sexual assault. The Prevention, Education, and Awareness Program (PEAP), provides outreach and education where individuals learn how each of us plays a role in the process of education, accountability and prevention efforts pertaining to sexual and domestic violence. If you would like to schedule a presentation or receive more information about our programs you can get connected below by submitting a request for more information about scheduling an education program.
To schedule a presentation, email or call to speak to someone in our Prevention, Education, and Awareness Program at 940-387-5131.
