We are always looking for fun and exciting ways to partner with our community. Our community partners invest in the safety, hope, healing, and justice for domestic violence and sexual assault victims and survivors in our community. You are essential to our success, and your investment directly saves lives!
 


Monthly Needs List 

You can check our most recent needs list below for the items we are looking to have donated to the women and children we are serving this month. You can purchase/donate these items and drop them off at our Outreach Office located at 4845 I-35. You can also purchase items through Amazon and have them shipped directly to our agency. Please make sure all donations are marked for the Marketing & Development department so we can ensure they get to the specific clients in need.

How Do I Get Wish List Donations To Clients? 

  • You can order through Amazon and autoship to our Outreach Office
  • Drop off donations for clients to Outreach Office at 4845 S I-35 E 
  • Email e-giftcards to communityrelations@dcfof.org 

Gas Gift Cards

Gas gift cards are a very consistent need for our clients. When you are saving up to support yourself every penny counts! We are in constant need of $10 gas gift cards to hand out to our clients on an as-needed basis. You can drop them off any time at our Outreach Office (4845 S. I-35E), or you can provide the funds and we will purchase the gift card!

Item Donations

Item drives are a very meaningful way for the community to impact the lives of women and children in need. Whether it’s during the holidays or throughout the year, hosting or participating in a drive will help us meet the needs of our clients. For businesses, this type of community project is perfect for both employee and customer participation.

At the Friends of the Family Thrift Store clients and their families are provided the opportunity to shop for both personal and household needs. The store is also open to the community; shoppers and volunteers are welcome! Proceeds from community shoppers benefit agency programs.

  • Donations are accepted and appreciated at the Thrift Store, however, all electronics must be in working condition. 
  • Donations are tax deductible.
  • Furniture pick-ups are available upon request and pending truck availability. 
  • Volunteers are always needed here to assist staff in maintaining the appearance and organization of the shops.
