Board Member Dale Yeatts, Ph. D.

Dale Yeatts joined the faculty at the University of North Texas in 1988. He currently serves as a Professor of Sociology. He received his PhD from the University of Virginia. Dale’s areas of study at UNT include health, aging, and the environment. Dale has received multiple grants and has published multiple articles and several books. This work has included the study of Self-Directed Work Teams, the use of teams in nursing homes, the empowerment of nurse aide, and most recently factors assisting patients in their recovery after a hospital stay. He has been a DCFOF Board Member since 2018.
