In 2016, we served 145 clients just in the Little Elm area, and 398 total in the Little Elm and Northeast Denton County area. This year our team of experts has already helped 75 victims of sexual and/or domestic violence from the same service area.

We are continuing to expand services into the Little Elm and Northeast area in order to further serve the community. Denton County Friends of the Family will be hosting a meet and greet for the Little Elm and 380 corridor communities on June 27th, 8am to 11am at Bella’s Café.

This is an opportunity for Friends of the Family Executive Director Toni Johnson-Simpson and other staff to meet members of the community. Friends of the Family is the sole provider of comprehensive services for victims of sexual and domestic violence in Denton County. In order to serve the growing population across the Northeast area of Denton County, Friends of the Family has been working to expand services in this area. In addition to the Northeast area having access to full services like shelter, legal, play therapy and advocacy at the Outreach Office located in Corinth; currently Friends of the Family provides local counseling services at the Little Elm Police Department. In 2016, Friends of the Family served 398 clients in the Northeast Denton County area. This year their team of experts has already helped 75 victims of sexual and/or domestic violence from the Little Elm area.

Denton County Friends of the Family is continuing to expand services into the Little Elm and Northeast area in order to further serve the community. Join Executive Director and staff on June 27th for breakfast to connect and learn more about the agency and the work they are doing in your community for friends, family and neighbors.

A special $10 meal of pancakes, bacon or sausage, and one drink will be offered to benefit Friends of the Family. All proceeds will go toward the organization.
