Board Member Amanda Hall

Amanda moved to Denton County with her husband and two children in 2017 from the suburbs of Chicago where she worked as a Family Peer Counselor and Community Education Speaker for the NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness.  Her work with NAMI was based in providing hope, compassion, resources and education to families and individuals during times of mental health crisis. Since living in Texas, she has coached her children’s sports teams, and also worked in several metroplex preschools teaching a variety of sports to students.  Her altruistic nature and passion for supporting women and children motivated her to join the board of DCFOF and she looks forward to the opportunity to serve such a well respected organization.
