moving families from crisis to confidence.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities

"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention."
-Oscar Wilde

The staff of Denton County Friends of the Family is doing everything in our power to stop family violence and heal the wounds of sexual assault. But, we cannot do it alone. We need YOUR help.

Volunteers play a vital part in the delivery of services from rocking babies, painting shelter rooms, helping at the Thrift Store; volunteers are one of the largest assets Friends of the Family has. Our volunteers make it possible for us to give our clients excellent service.

We encourage both groups and individuals to look into volunteering for Friends of the Family. Whether you can give an hour a month or several hours a week, we would be honored to have your help. If you feel you can make a contribution in a way that's not listed, let us know. We are always open to new ideas.
