We are in desperate need for a truck lift for our donations pick-up vehicle. If you or someone you know has one they would be willing to donate, please contact our Community Resource Coordinator at 940-387-5131 or via e-mail at volunteer@dcfof.org.
Tangible item drives are a very meaningful way for the community to impact the lives of battered women and children in need. Whether it’s during the holidays, or throughout the year, hosting or participating in a drive will help us meet the needs of our clients. For businesses, this type of community project is perfect for both employee and customer participation.

Shelter Needs
Non-foods:
Full-size toiletries (hair care, dental care, skin care)
Hair brushes, combs, ponytail holders, styling aids (dryers, straighteners, etc.)
Feminine hygiene products (esp. maxi pads and tampons in regular and super)
Cleaning supplies
Laundry supplies
New socks, underwear, and pajamas for women and children, all sizes
Diapers, esp. sizes 4 , 5, 6
Baby wipes
Pillows
Twin size sheets, blankets
Bath towels, washcloths
Gift cards for RaceTrac (gas), Kroger, or Wal-mart
Paper products such as paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, paper plates
Foods:
Canned meats such as tuna, chunk chicken and ham
Canned soups, chili, ravioli
Crackers
Boxed meal kits such as Hamburger Helper
Canned fruit and vegetables

To schedule a furniture pick-up, call 940-387-5131. Pick-ups are scheduled for Saturday’s. At this time, we are only able to pickup furniture.
Here, clients and their families are provided opportunity to shop for both personal
and household needs. The store is also open to the community. Proceeds from
community shoppers benefit agency programs.
· Donations are accepted and appreciated at the Thrift Store, however all electronics
must be in working condition. We are especially in need of furniture.
· Donations are tax deductible.
· Furniture pick-ups are available upon request.
· Volunteers are always needed here to assist staff in maintaining the appearance and organization of the shop.
