Rhapsody In Blue
2008
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Rhapsody in Blue was our most successful event yet, raising $132,000.00!!!
The afternoon was a memorable one, with guests enjoying the excitement of both a live and silent auction. The luckiest of attendees took home winning pieces of sparkling Tiffany and Co. jewelry. Guests enjoyed a delicious brunch, while a variety of speakers took the stage in support of Denton County Friends of the Family. Clarice Tinsely of FOX 4 News, served as Mistress of Ceremonies. Tinsely emphasized the need for agencies like DCFOF, and commended our efforts and successes. It was truly an afternoon of kind-heartedness, awareness, and hope for prevention.
We would like to thank all of the supporters of this year’s Rhapsody in Blue – your commitment to helping survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence has truly been unwavering and without bounds.
We are pleased to announce the date for next year’s Rhapsody in Blue,
April 19, 2009 – please plan to attend.
