Denton County Friends of the Family depends on the generosity of our supporters to help move victims of relationship violence and sexual assault from crisis to confidence. You can make a difference!
How Financial Donations Make a Difference
$1,500 provides groceries for one month at the shelter
$1,000 transitions one family from the shelter into independent living
$835 provides 26 women and children shelter for one day
$500 shelters a woman and her children for five days
$200 provides a 24-Hour Crisis Line for three weeks
$100 supplies milk for everyone at the shelter for two weeks
$50 provides one hour of play therapy for a child
$50 provides one hour of counseling for a victim
$40 buys an infant's diapers for two weeks
$35 provides a one month bus pass for a victim while they're job hunting
